About Pharmazilla

Pharmazilla exists to answer one question honestly: is this actually worth taking? The supplement and medication world is full of marketing dressed up as information. We cut through it by checking products and ingredients against the published evidence — NIH, PubMed, FDA — and telling you plainly what the science supports, what it doesn’t, and what’s still uncertain.

What we cover today

We’re building depth before breadth. Right now Pharmazilla focuses on three areas where people spend real money and deserve straight answers:

  • Vitamins & minerals — ingredient guides and product reviews for the supplements people actually buy
  • Sleep aids — what helps, what doesn’t, and what the studies really show
  • Digestive & gut health — probiotics, prebiotics, and gut-health claims, examined strain by strain

Where we’re headed

Pharmazilla is growing into a complete pharma resource, in four stages:

  1. Supplement & OTC reviews (available now) — evidence-based guides and product reviews for supplements and over-the-counter products.
  2. Medication guides — plain-English information on prescription and OTC medications: what they do, side effects, and how they interact with supplements and each other.
  3. Interactive tools — practical utilities like a drug-interaction checker, a pill identifier, and medication price comparison, so you can get answers in seconds instead of digging through pages.
  4. Community & professional resources — a pharmacy directory and resources connecting patients, caregivers, and pharmacy professionals in one place.

The name says it: we intend to cover everything pharma — but we’d rather earn your trust one well-researched guide at a time than launch it all half-done.

Who writes this content

Pharmazilla is a research-based editorial operation. Our content is not written or reviewed by a licensed pharmacist, physician, or dietitian at this stage. We believe you deserve to know that plainly rather than have us imply a credential we don’t have. As the site grows, we intend to bring on a credentialed reviewer — when that happens, this page will name that person and describe their role.

What we do instead is research every topic against primary, authoritative sources — peer-reviewed studies on PubMed, the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, the FDA, and MedlinePlus — and cite those sources at the bottom of every article so you can check our work yourself. Our full methodology, including exactly how we evaluate and rate products, is on our How We Review page.

What we will always do

  • Cite every claim to a source you can verify
  • Say “the evidence is weak” when the evidence is weak
  • Keep affiliate relationships from influencing what we recommend — see our affiliate disclosure
  • Remind you that nothing here replaces your doctor or pharmacist

Pharmazilla content is for general information and is not medical advice. Always talk to a healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement or medication.

Pharmazilla is published by Symfonia, LLC — the company that builds, operates, and maintains the site.
